Besteron administration
1. Getting a Besteron Account
To process payments through Besteron, you must have an active Besteron merchant account. You can request access directly from Besteron. More information is available here:
https://besteron.com/en/payment-getway/
Once your account is created, log in to the Besteron administration portal. Your required credentials can be found here:
Left menu → Integration → Integration tab
You will see the following values:
Besteron ID (CID)
Payment Key
API Key
These three values must be entered into nopCommerce.
2. Accessing the Besteron Configuration in nopCommerce
You can open the Besteron configuration page in two different ways. Both lead to the same settings screen.
Option A: Through Payment Methods
Left menu → Configuration → Payment methods
Find Besteron in the list
Click Configure button
Option B: Through AzrCommerce
Left menu → AzrCommerce → Configuration → Besteron
3. General Settings
Inside the configuration page, you will find textboxes for:
Besteron ID (CID)
Payment Key
API Key
Enter the values obtained from your Besteron account and save the settings.
After changing any of these fields, a store restart is required for the new values to take effect.
4. Payment Methods
The plugin displays a list of all payment methods supported by Besteron. Each method has a checkbox so you can choose which options to offer to your customers.
Examples include:
Credit Card
Apple Pay
Google Pay
Supported Slovak and Czech banks
Only the selected methods will appear during checkout.
5. Payment Status Redirects
In this section, you can define custom URLs where customers will be redirected after the Besteron payment process finishes. Each payment status has its own textbox.
If you leave any field empty, the customer will be redirected to the default Thank You page provided by nopCommerce.
6. Orders and Transactions
This section displays a list of all order–transaction pairs processed through Besteron.
Features include:
Search by Order ID or Transaction ID
A button to navigate directly to the related order
Clear overview of transaction mapping
This helps you quickly verify payment associations and troubleshoot issues.
7. Logs
All communication between nopCommerce and Besteron is logged for transparency and debugging.
Each log entry includes:
Date (UTC)
Request data
Response data
Request URL
Message
Payment step
Status
Order ID
Logs are displayed in a searchable, filterable table with a button to open the related order.
8. Order Detail Page Integration
For orders paid using Besteron, the plugin adds an additional button:
Check payment status
Clicking this button queries Besteron in real time and displays the current payment status.
